It sure is different. I just went on babynames.com and they have no record of that name at all....so, there's that. I don't think it sounds bad, but it is an original. I don't think there IS a common nn for Sania, but Annie is cute nonetheless. Sonia means wisdom and is Slavic. It is the 685th most popular girl's name in America...
